What Is The Difference Of Mobility Chairs And Manual Wheelchair

What is the difference between mobility chairs and manual wheelchair? If you ask me, my opinion is they are both used by mobility challenged individuals and of course, they are both chairs.

When you search online for mobility chairs, most likely you will get a link for manual wheelchair. In fact, these mobility equipments are just about identical. I research more on these products and it came to me that mobility chairs is more of a common term about all mobility equipments that are mainly chairs. Manual wheelchairs, power scooters, power wheelchairs, go chairs, quickie chairs or lightweight wheelchairs; these are all mobility chairs. On the other hand, manual wheelchairs are categorized either electric or manual.

So, be it mobility chairs or manual wheelchairs, it does not matter because both serves the needs of mobility challenged persons.
