Make Your Own Purse with a Beautiful Wooden Handle
Ladies, one hot accessory item to make for yourself right now is a purse, and there are several clever purse patterns on the market. Since becoming aware of this purse making craft, I’ve not been able to figure out how the handle was made on crocheted purse I recently saw at a craft show. The wonderful accessory was a beautiful solid tan leather bag with beautiful wooden handles. The wood was delicately carved and stained, and it really added richness to the look of the purse. In addition to the crocheted bag, the seller also had striped, solid and other multicolored bags that all had the attractive wooden purse handles, and my first thought was that she, or someone she knows, must have made them by hand. Actually, in my opinion the handles were the more attractive part of the purses.
I have found at craft fairs there are two kinds of craft sellers: one who will tell you every step of the process they go through to make each item. The second, however, will not say anything about how their items were made. They’ll give one word answers to questions as if it’s top-secret classified information, the release of which would jeopardize lives. The woman with the bags with the attractive wooden handles was in the latter group.
