What is the true definition of Integrity?

Integrity means being honest, and doing what you say you are going to do.

This seems hard for some people. Governed by what makes them feel good in the moment, they will change their mind on a whim. It is difficult to rely on such people, because you never know if they are going to show up, or come through on their promises. When someone asks them to go to a party, they don’t say, “I can’t. I already have a commitment.” They say, “OK. Sounds like fun.”

Integrity goes hand in hand with principle-based leadership. You can always rely on a principled leader acting in accordance with his character. They say, “I will treat my people well.” They don’t say, “I will treat my people well, unless I don’t feel like it,” or “I will treat my people well, unless it is inconvenient for me.”

The person who acts with integrity from a Law of Attraction Perspective doesn’t say, “I will do what makes me feel good.” They will say, “I will do what I need to do from a good feeling place.” There is a vast difference between the two.

The person who acts according to what makes them feel good in the moment believes that happiness comes from outside things, and will pursue those things in a never-ending quest to find fleeting happiness that is always slightly out of reach.

The person who acts with integrity knows that happiness comes from within, and will cultivate that peace and happiness first, before acting. As a result, their decisions are much more effective.
