So What’s With This WoW Powerleveling?
Power Leveling is what you do when you need/want to get to higher levels as quickly as possible. You set aside all other considerations, such as PvP, chat, etc., to get the XP piled on higher and deeper. There are several ways to get there, but some will get your account banned. Not just the character, the whole acount, so there’s a certain disincentive there.
Here’s how it works:
Pay a 3rd party: Give a 3rd party access to your account and some (real) money and they will level your character from X to Y. Depending on the deal youi make you may even get some sweet gear and gold to spend. Don’t get caught.
Botting: Also refered to as “ban bait,” this is where you set up scripts, purchased from some provider, to play your character for you. You get fast leveling and eliminate the tedium. Again, don’t get caught.
Rushing: Grab your nearest high level character and do what it takes to have him run you through the low level dungeons. He kills everything, you get the loot and XP. This is probably the fastest legal way to level.
Do it yourself: Not really powerleveling, there are still ways to move a lot faster than your fellow players. Basically it involves efficient questing, being organized, and putting your focus on gathering XP as quickly as possible. Some people use a wow leveling guide, others make good use of the various dungeons/instances for some fun dungeon leveling, and others just grind a million mobs to get their levels.
The first two might get you banned, the latter two are slower and require your involvement, but are 100% safe. Now it’s your choice as to which way to go.
